WA: Deliberately lit fire causes $20,000 damage

A deliberately lit fire has caused $20,000 damage to a Perth primary school.

Arson squad officers are investigating the blaze at the Montessori Primary School in
Osborne Park, which started about 3.30am (WST) today.

Police say the fire was located in a storage shed next to an outdoor covered teaching area.

It caused extensive damage to the shed and its contents and the outdoor covered area
suffered structural damage.

The repair bill is estimated at $20,000.
