NSW:Dam levels continue to drop despite water restrictions

SYDNEY, Jan 1 AAP - Sydney's dam levels continue to decline, despite compulsory water
restrictions successfully cutting water usage in their twelfth week of operation, the
state government said today.

Dam levels are now at 56.6 per cent of total capacity, which is down 0.9 per cent since
December 19, when the last water figures were released.

NSW parliamentary secretary on natural resources Alison Megarrity released the latest
